Full view recommended (because otherwise you won't know what on earth is going on ^_^)
Right, this deviation will take a lot of explaining... It is my homage to "Your Day In Photographs" Day, and basically this is my day today in photographs.
To view chronologically, read each of the four rows from left to right.
If you don't care what any of these images mean then don't bother reading below ^_^
--- --- ---
1* My Bed: This is where I start my day, almost every day. Bed is one of my most favourite places. My unmade bed always looks so comfortable and inviting. These are also my favourite sheets - double whammy!
2* The View from my Window: Only a few minutes after getting up to go to work I knelt on my bed and precariously lent out of the window to photograph my view, with the church and the ceanothis, (apologies for my spelling ).
3* Hillers' Yard: I work as a waitress in the cafe section of a massive farmshop, garden centre, cafe complex thing in the middle of nowhere. This yard always looks so bleak to me, it is so wide and bare and it links everywhere in the cafe. It takes me forever to walk across it in the morning.
4* Sam I: Sam works on making puddings in the cafe (one of my favourite things) I love to watch her making crazy patterns with sauce and arranging everything so perfectly. She is a true artist ^_^ I wish people appreciated the work that goes into food preparation at these places.
5^ The Pink Gloop: Much of my work day is taken up by this industrial strength, pink gloop. Here I am using it to mop the floors, other times you dilute it to wipe tables or disinfect the toilets. It's just so... gloop.y
6^ Adam: Another group of people I have enourmous amounts of respect for in the food service industry are the washer uppers. It's a tough job, when mustard gets on EVERYTHING, when little bits of coffee won't come off cups, and especially when the dishwasher breaks!
7^ The Two Ladies: I adore these two old ladies. They have been coming in every week for as long as I can remember, I know their order like the back of my hand - A pot of tea for two with extra hot water, two scoops of devon toffee ice cream for the one on the left and a fruit scone for the one on the right
8^ Me: This was a rare moment I let Adam loose with my camera, he decided to shoot me making drinks (another job I relish)... nothing much to say on this one... I don't really like many picture of me ^^:
9` Sam II: This was another instance of Adam with my camera (hehe he likes the pretty girls!) I love how Sam's expression never seems to change throughout the day, whether she's making puds or washing up! But I do love these guys.
10` Gem: I freaked Gemma out a bit here, I snuck up behind her when she was clearing a table... There is just something very sweet and thoughtful about the way she's standing. I always just get lucky with these shots. And it shows how lovely the cafe is.
11` The Garden Cafe: Technically the cafe is called The Garden Cafe because the back patio is in a garden, however today it was rather nippy so no one sat out here. It made me laugh because it takes forever to set up out here and when no one sits there it seems like such a wasted hour of the day.
12` Bell: This little figure is actually a bell. She sits by the hatch between kitchen and front of house, when an order comes through ready to be taken out, someone in the kitchen will ring the bell. I just love her serious expression and how out of place she feels.
13~ After work: After work I decided to go for a walk in the 'show garden' at work, where people can walk around and admire the loveliness of it all, and it was so beautiful at about 5 this afternoon, again I am so obsessed with natural light!
14~ The Bouncing Brats Next Door: Oh they look so sweet and innocent just bouncing away there, but they are such screaming little chav brats! Little more that I can say, just they periodically ruin my day (unfortunately this is also the view from my other bedroom window)!
15~ My Room: This was my exact view of my room as I woke up from my afternoon nap ^_^ I don't know whether that is something I should admit to... tilt your head to the left to see how daft my room is.
16~ Me again: This was the only one taken with the computer on the laptop, that light is totally real and untampered with. It's just the way the camera dealt with the odd glow of my bedside light. I am literally just deciding how to put together this piece ^_^ seemed a nice way to wrap it off.

Sorry if this seems a little obsessive. I just love giving little histories to my photos. And this piece feels very personal to me... it's my day immortalised for me
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.

Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)
